Great location not too far from Paco dos Condes de Barcelos, lovely building, and rooms with private bathrooms make this venue a fantastic place to stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The double room was stylish and the bed was really comfortable. It was a great bonus to have a hair dryer, a shower cap, and fresh towels. The location was very central, right in the heart of the Old Town. Plus, it was convenient to the city center, the market, historical area, and a supermarket.

Stayed for 1 night and was impressed by this art hotel. The staff were very, very nice throughout my visit. The breakfast was satisfactory, the best I had in Barcelos. The location was marvellous and amazing in the heart of Old Town. There was café Daisy Gelataria e Coffee, that I found within 10 minutes' walk of the venue.

This place is in a great location, just a short walk from the train station and only 1 km from the Tower of Barcelos.

I spent one night at Residencial Kuarenta&Um while walking Camino Portugues, and it was perfect for me. Picking up the key from Art'otel Barcelos was a bit confusing but no problem. Grocery stores nearby, well-equipped kitchen, nice patio, and the room had everything I needed. Best value place I've ever stayed in, with hostel-like shared kitchen space but hotel-standard rooms. Vaina was very friendly and welcoming. Great BBQ place popular with locals at the end of the street. Lovely spacious room, beds easily put together for traveling with kids. Nice breakfast with variety. Kind staff.

Residencial Kuarenta And Um is an excellent find in the heart of Old Town. Its prices are incredibly affordable, giving you great value for your money. The attention to detail is evident, with rooms equipped with basic amenities like air conditioning and private bathrooms. The added bonus of having a small balcony is a nice touch. Additionally, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, just like the helpful staff mentioned in one of the reviews.

All in all, this hotel was a fantastic choice and left me with no complaints.

I can't recommend highly enough this hotel. The property's location was great and stunning, in the heart of Old Town. Moreover, it's next to the centre of Barcelos as well as the market. The place had a quiet atmosphere.
